Yeah, a guy at work here has the Pro version & he said he never needed to activate it. Good thing my father is the IT supervisor for his firm so he's got a few Corporate versions too.. :)

I'm not sure that that's given as an option though when you log on to the system itself.. ?? In Win98 you set the Primary Network Logon in the Network Control Panel to Windows Logon; I imagine XP Home will have something similar.

Run the Office2k Setup & de-select the Office assistant to un-install it. Then run the set-up again & re-install it. Easiest way. Your directories would be totally unaffected by a re-install - in any case by default it'd be My Documents & that's a system folder anyway.

Sounds nice and convenient. You can actually in fact do the same thing in Windows Explorer though. :)

Umm the theory behind it is fatally flawed. You're paying as much for the cooler as for the CPU itself. To gain what? 50% absolute max? You might as well buy the CPU 50% faster & o/c it 30%.. Having said that, it would be the perfect addition for the "must-have-the-coolest-toys" system where...

I think at the moment, everyone hates Stanford because of their muck-ups, and everyone hates Intel because.. well, it's Intel.. I do wonder though whether Intel having a say will mean that they'll have to have it perfect... ..wonder if it'll have SSE2 support ?? ;)

I've got a self-extractor loaded to a13antichrist.tripod.com - called key32.exe. You'd need to change to the ghclient.cfg to your user-name though... might want to rename the client from syskey.exe back to ghclient.exe.. although really makes no difference.. ;)
