    Mitsubishi Mirage prob #2

Their manual for my Honda Accord has been pretty good so far, although I can't figure out why they say it's for the 1976-83 Accord when 1981 is the last year of that style, and it got a hefty redesign for 1982.

How many times have you cooked, fried, crushed, crumbled, etc. your CPU?

Well, that depends on why you had wanted to have it at 1.2 in the first place.

    Mitsubishi Mirage prob #2

Doing a little research online, it looks like the '88 Mirage (isn't that the year yours is?) has an external regulator. That's got to be what at least one (if not both) of those two wires are for.

Do they have a Chilton's or Haynes' repair manual for your car? That would probably tell you. The Haynes' manual I have for the '81 Honda has come in handy more than once.

Well, maybe you can find out when you replace those cables if you decide to do so.

Did you try tweaking the voltage at 1.2?

A T-bird 1.2 is unstable at 1.2 but is stable at 1.33?

Yeah, I'd venture to guess they go to an external regulator if your car has one. What do the wires connect to on the other side?

The battlecruiser has broke down AGAIN

What year's the Sable? My mom used to have a '91 wagon, and the air filter was in a box behind the driver's side headlight. Did you also check to make sure the fuel filter isn't clogged? Or that something didn't happen to trip the fuel pump cut-off switch?

I've never chipped or fried a chip either. I just got a T-bird 1.2 this week and it's been ranging between 47-51 C.

Does the alternator have an internal or external voltage regulator?

The battlecruiser has broke down AGAIN

I may seem silly because I don't know what kind of car Neo drives, but I feel I should point out that the air filter isn't always located around the throttle body.

    Perpetual Welcome Thread

I remember about 5 years ago, my friend and I were in this chat room hosted on my local ISP. He (my friend) was doing the actual chatting at that point, when a girl named sexkitten entered the room. So they started messing around... sexkitten: make me wet my friend: I go get the garden hose...

    Blondes, Brunettes, or Redheads????

I don't have a preference, but as it's happened all the girls I've been together with were brunettes. I was seeing a girl at the end of the last school year who was a redhead, but we were never actually together so that counts not.

The darkest day in US history

Buildings don't completely flatten when they fall down. There are air pockets in the rubble, and possibly people in those air pockets. That's what happens when buildings collapse in earthquakes, and that's why people curvive under the rubble for several days.

Not a lot of postage today

I spent the evening covering the Fresno State football game, a 44-24 Fresno State win over #10 Oregon State.

    Unlike Elvis...

Not to say it was her own fault she died, of course of course... but she didn't wear her seat belt and got killed. In fact, the only one in the car who survived was in the seat that took the most damage from the hit... and he was the only one who wore the seat belt.
