    Useless Trivia

You just now found that out? Mirabilis was always an Israeli company before AOL bought them.

    tempting but didn't buy

My aunt used to have a 1984 Celebrity with a 2.8 V6 that would probably overheat in Canada in December. I know several times she had to have cold water sprayed on the radiator to help cool the engine down enough that you could shut it off. The block eventually cracked 5 or 6 years ago.

OKay, who's the wiseguy who put my pic on HOT OR NOT?

They wouldn't even accpet my picture. They said I look too young. Odd, because everyone thinks I look older than 20, although the pic I used was me when I was 16.

    Odds to win Super Bowl

If you ask me, the Bucs need to win a game--any game, against any team--where the temperature is below 45 before they can really be considered the second most likely team to win the Super Bowl.

    hmm

FTR the going rate for 1994 T-birds in my area seems to be about $6,000, and that's with the V6. I'm not sure what premium the V8 would command, but in any case if you've had to sink $6000 worth of repairs into it... then that's getting to be a bit much. A whole new engine shouldn't be more than...

    hmm

The 3.8 in the 1991 Sable my parents used to have was a good engine, although we only put 89K on the car before we traded it in. I'd say look out for the service department at the Ford dealer more than look out for the engine. The original plugs went over 80,000 miles thanks to our wonderfully...

    tempting but didn't buy

How old was the engine that was in it? I've noticed it seems like most General Motors trucks that old are on at least their second engine.

    Just A Reminder!!!

I still think this whole gimmick has gotten really cheesy.

    I Resign...

I have an ex-girlfriend who is 6 months older than I am (she'll turn 21 in September), but she's just about to graduate to being a sophomore in the maturity dept. and her parents treat her like she's 10.

    Now, that was interesting...

    I don't think I've ever had one smaller than 56AA. I sure could use a 12... or a 20, or 30, or even 40.

How about that....I live in the best place in the world...

They argued over a camp site, not a parking space. I can send you the official press release fax the paper I work at got from the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Department on it, as well as the fax correcting the spelling of the name of the guy who the ranger had to shoot. It wasn't much of a...

How big is your hard drive?

No matter what you decide to do with your life, you'll still need a bigger hard drive.

    Memory

I always thought that PC100 was certified to run at 100MHz without crashing and PC133 was certified to run at 133MHz without crashing, and other than that both are identical to standard PC66 SDRAM. I do know that PC100 and PC133 are backwards compatible.

    Burger King made shoes?

I remember the hubbub over them supposedly being a gang symbol because BK could also stand for "Blood Killers." Of course, the CD on the Colorado Rockies hat also means "Crips rule."
