I think AMD needs to bring back a new version of the duron. Keeping the price low is the only way they are going to be able to compete with Intel.

My 2.4 I had crunching here has been down a couple of days now, since the heavy thunder storms rolled through. I'll try to get it back up soon, hopefully tomarrow, or maybe the next day. It seems there isn't enough hours in the day these day.

I believe they did beef-up some. From what I've followed, they were prety steady around 5000wu, now the are steady around 5800wu /wk. I was hitting about 3800wu/wk at one time, and with pads addition, and the previous members we were hitting about 7000wu/wk. Pad had to quit, and I had to...

Will it boot from a floppy? If all else fails you can try taking the mobo out of the case, then plugging things in one at a time.;)

It kinda sounds to me like either a bad HD cable, or connection, or something grounding out. (like something that has been close to gronding but didn't, until you moved something.):confused:
