I'm happy with my altec(s) I have a 5.1 system on my main comp, 2 sets of 2.1 running on a 4 chanell card in my lab, and another 2.1 set on my little serving machine.

you may be able to fix it with the win2k install disk, with a restore, or something. I know xp has a fix option, but I haven't tried it with 2k. :eh:

You could also backup the mbr with this... http://www.kuurstra.cistron.nl/ then load 98 on the other partition, then reload the mbr, and modify the boot.ini in 2000. http://www.comptechdoc.org/os/windows/win2k/win2kconfigfiles.html

Huge have you tried logging in as a different user, then delete all the index.dat file, like in the cookies, and temp-inet folders?

Sounds like burnin to me. :eek: I don't know if there is a way to fix that, short of putting in a new tube.

Yeah, I'm a pretty big Yahoo fna when it come to email. I've got about 10 accounts on my various web hosts, but I maintain my 'premium' yahoo account, because I like their features.

I've gotten the Nigerian one several times this year, and recently have been getting one about a guy that's supposed to be in the UK, when in fact he's sending it from Florida.

I can't get Longhorn, but I am running 2003 server. It's way cool. They finally got the clustering, and load-balance made a lot simpler. I think the need to work on the security though..... it's got too much :D I'm in the process of seeing just how well this version communicates with...

cool. All the stuff I have left after this recent job has wound up being copped up to 25' and less. I've been looking around at getting another 1000' spool, but if we can get together on price, and the shipping isn't too back, I might need 2000'. ;)
