Yes, my old 1.2 @ 1.4, but that had nothing to do with me trying to make it go faster. It was just too hot (and still would've been even if it was at 1.2), and the heatsink was so tight that it cracked under the pressure when it locked up and shut off.

The general rule of thumb is half system memory, or if that's not available, the next lowest setting. Are there any problems when running it at an aperture of 64mb? If so, that's kind of odd, because it's the most stable option in most cases. I get some lockup problems at 256mb, but at 64mb...
