I wonder if you're experiencing resource share problems with that sound card. BD, have you tried it with the sound card in a different PCI slot?

Yep. The mass storage devices are probably on-board ATA 100 IDE ports, and the drivers for those are on the mobo CD (usually, it's a Promise driver). Install those mobo drivers, BD.

I can think of a couple reasons for wanting a single 200GB partition. For example, my bro-in-law does a lot of video work. He's got a home video recorder which he brings in through a firewire card, edits the films, saves several versions, etc. Massive space requirements, and he doesn't want...

My county works the same way as AZ and CA. Most of the other counties here are "one day, one trial". You go in on your day, and if you don't end up on a jury, you're done. Not Cobb County. 3 MONTHS?! Jeez!
