The Win9x series of OSs have a habit of getting remarkably cluttered with all sorts of junk. A new install is a chance to make a fresh start & you wouldn't want to poison your new version of 2k by leaving some Win9x lying aorund underneath it...

You shouldn't have to "do things" to make an OS usable. It should be usable right from the start. If it isn't then there's something seriously wrong. But bear in mind this isn't a tweaker's OS. It's for the average Joe who doens't know a driver from a chauffeur.. for him those "features" that...

Not as yet. The idea is that we're keeping it all clean until we get up a good member base & the hosts are happy with us. When we're a bit bigger we might take another look. We've got OCN for that anyway so it shouldn't matter.
