    I got my price match/MiR. Damned glad I did it the cheating way, lines were atrocious & the vidcard was sold out by 10am. The WD HDD/memory was gone too. I would have liked that but it wasn't worth the stupidity. To those of you who brave these days-you're a better man than I.

    memory is backwards compatible (ie: 133 will run at 100 with no problems) it is never forward compatible though. don't mix styles though (ddr & sdram aren't he same, etc)

    Best Buy has a decent 6am-Noon special. Buy a WD 7200 rpm 75GB HDD & a stick of pc133 256 memory for $220, get something like $60 off instant bundle savings & then throw in a MiR & it will eventually cost $49.99

    I think I just got mine. BFG Asylum GF4 Ti4200 128 DDR...going onsale Friday after Thanksgiving for $199.99 minus $55 instanly & a $55 MiR. Picked it up tonight, will do the price-match thing on Fri.

    Then why would the memory last longer if it ran at nominal speed? Logic says you'd get longer life at lower temps & below spec. I'm not arguing, just confuse? :confused:

    is there a reason why it would run cooler at it's nominal clock speed as opposed to running cooler because it's running at a slower rate. sems backwards to me but what do I know?
