I confermed (with unclehobarts help) that it was only the mobo.. cpu is fine, so I have ordered an Abit KX7-333 to replace it... should arive any day now:)

Take my advise on this one... Let an Exaust shop do it! By the time you get all the parts, tear the old stuff out,(using torches,carbide cutting wheels,hack saws etc) go back to the parts store to buy the stuff you broke trying to get the old system out... start putting the new pipes in(where...

still no post.... and I don't know if it's both Mobo AND cpu bad, or just mobo OR cpu? Will a mobo give beep codes with a dead cpu in it? OR if you remove the cpu.. will you get ANY beeps?

How much? and is the p4 "retail"? or did you have to get a new HSF for it? how is that mobo as far as Overclocking potential? I was going to get the KR7a-133 to replace my Smoked KG7.. but I'm also thinking about the KX7333...

OK I ran some benchmarks with the new stuff I got... still trying new drivers, my old 3dmark 2001se score was 3024 with the geforce2mx.. BIG difference! :D as far as the video card goes... A geforce3 Ti 500 is clocked at 220\500... so I beat that with my card:)

Ya.. before I was using Origanal Artic silver, and a dragon orb3+ and the real kicker is the 80mm delta is quiter than the orb..and puts out 68.5 cfm

I'm doing some tweaking now to the drivers... after i get done i'll post some 3dmark scores.. stock and overclocked! BTW... my temps went from 53c down to 35c (full load).. LOVE that AX-7:D
