try unstalling it totally, software, hardware and in safe mode as well. check the parallel port settings in the bios too - change the epp and ecp settings and see if that makes a difference.

photoshop is the industry standard and best. but unless you are publishing for magazines paint shop pro is an excellent alternative.

wear rubber gloves! you can proabbly just wipe it down with a mild solution on a damp cloth [not dripping wet!] for the keys and use compressed air for the hard to reach areas. and the keyboard :grin:

i, umm, err acquired most of my software. disturbingly my copy of win2k is legal ! it turns out the my work have a campus-wide licencse for it and anyone working for UWC is entitled to a copy. so back to normal when i leave then!
