Pad, If you already had some genes ready to up load, those go to the previuos team. Only the new starting genes will go to the new team. If you are running any -nonet, you need to -clear, and get another one. That also seems the be the case if you reconfigure while in the middle of a gene.:(

I just got through cleaning up a computer that had win95 on it. A Pii400. I got it crunchin' genomies now.:D Shit, I believe even it is better that XP in some ways.:p

Is that 98 Fe, or SE. Because if it's FE you may have a very hard time finding the right driver. Did it come with the original setup disc?

Cool:cool: I've kinda wondered about that. In 2000 I just put that in the address bar, and it does pull right up.;) I haven't tryied 98 yet. I don't like the way c$ drive is shared by default. It says it's a system share..blah blah blah.. Can that share be safely removed?

Sounds like you need to set it in the bios somewhere to assign irqs to the usb. You got anymore info on what this thing is? OS, brand, processor, bios type....

Ah nevermind It was this damn cookie program I was running. I uninstalled that bastich. I don't think I need it anyway since ie6 has a better cookie management.

I have google set as my home page. With ie5, I could just open ie and just start typing to do a search. Now when I open ie6 it flashes on the taskbar and loses "focus". So I have to click on the page, or the taskbar link, then type. I thought there was a way to cut-off that flashing crap...

My cable is doing pretty good right now. (got the 1meg connect.) I still wish I could get DSL. (damn BellSouth) I got a business line phone, and they wanted like $80/mo. So I had a private line put on. They put a damn digital splitter cover on the box outside, insted of running a new line...
