I've tried twice before to make a Linux supercomputer through clustering, to do genoming. The first attemp was pretty sad to say the least. It was before I started Genoming. It was about 8 years ago and I new very little at all about any kind of networking. The second attempt was 2 years...

I've got quite a few 80mm case type fans. (12v 2wire) used out of a bunch of old AT power supplies. I think they hold up better that the new "cheap made" fans. I usually modify the plug wires and ends.;)

I might want those 2 processors, and the HD if it's not gone already. What are you looking for. I got all kinds of stuff.

From Mandrake 7 to 8, it seems KDE has gotten quite a bit better. So I decided to take another stab at it. About floppies... I can format them, mount them, but I can't get it to un mount them. On the desktop icon, right click context menu there is always a mount option, but no umount...
