I found this article from newscientist.com interesting. Them fundy-terrorists are only using 40-bit DES? WTF? I guess its a fair bit more techmo-rogicul than messages written in the sand or carved into stone, but 40-bit is a joke.

No shit. The S.S. Flurffmeister could crack 40-bit in about 2 seconds.
