around here we will only have a moment of silence each hour but i dont know of anything which is sad. i think it should be remembered and not celebrated but something should happen like a candle vignette(im not sure if i used the right words) especially here(im in md close to DC) and NY.

Can you call in sick that day? I'm serious. Ironically, I called in sick on Sept. 11th last year but I might have to go to our office in Maspeth that day. That's as close as I want to get. I know you have to be much much closer than that, but it's going to be really hard that day besides all the special events scheduled. I don't think anyone will fault you for taking that day off. I certainly wouldn't.
