T-bird 1200/200 (default 1.75v) @ 1400/266 (1.92v).
Cooling: Air; OCZ Glacier 2 Heatsink with 26cfm YS-tech fan (original 36cfm fan died)
Stability: Rock solid so far, I only recently raised it back up to 1400 after it being uncrashable in terms of CPU stability at 1200. *knocks on wood*
Temps: 53-60 depending on air conditioning status.
Duron 700/200 (default 1.5v) @ 945/210 (1.92v).
Cooling: Air; Chrome Orb imitation (kill me)
Stability: Rock solid and has been for a while now.
Temps: 47-53 depending on air conditioning status.
I don't think I could've achieved either overclock without a good application of good thermal grease. I use OCZ Quicksilver.
As you can see in my sig, both systems are part of the unofficial tugboat of the S.S. Hellspawn
The overclocked P3 is not mine, but a friend's whom I crunched SETI with back in the day. He can testify for the importance of good thermal grease as well, I think I recall him telling me that his temps dropped
five degrees compared to using the stock grease!
