True Heroes

On the other side of the coin:/ There were some t-shirt vendors out bright and early near the smouldering ruins trying to peddle shirts that said: I ran a jet into the WTC and all I got was this lousy t-shirt.

I hear they were almost torn limb from limb.

Mr. Cheney speculated that "some real heroism by Americans" aboard the hijacked plane had prevented the hijackers from crash the plane into the Capitol in Washington.

"What they did was to foil the attack on Washington," the vice president said of the passengers. He surmised that "the target was the Capitol," and not the White House, which is less conspicuous from the air.

Those people are in line for a medal as they may have saved the presidents life along with others and the white house itself so I think they deserve it. BD

They should present their family members with medals, like those who are war heros get. These people are war heros.

Medals are nice but I think $1,000,000 per family would go along way to helping out too.

I don't know for sure but doesn't the CMoH come with a monthly check to the person or family? That's why I thought of that. BD

http://www.medalofhonor.com/ found the site but have not researched it yet.BD

The Medal of Honor is the highest distinction awarded to a member of the Armed Forces of the United States. It is presented by the President, in the name of Congress, and is earned by a deed of personal bravery and self sacrifice "above and beyond the call of duty."

Maybe we can't!

Haven't read anything that it did so maybe some financial aid to those families will happen.
