It seems as though Tampa Bay will announce on Wednesday 02/20/02 that Jon Gruden is now their head coach. We'll see.


what is the Davis/Gruden fight about anyway? I've seen nothing about it anywhere.

ALAMEDA, Calif. (AP) -- Al Davis never wavered on his demands, and his patience was rewarded.
The Oakland Raiders owner got his price from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in exchange for coach Jon Gruden on Monday: four draft picks and $8 million.

with 4 draft picks(2 first rounds & two seconds I think), $eight million more dollars for Al & no coach(more rumor, Mariuchi(sic?) is in the running)

Well they could use the draft picks, but they better end up with a good coach. Mariuchi is great, but the San Fran peeps would throw a fit, their already over there still bitching about Rice.
