I bought a new PNY GeForce Mx200 32 MB card from a local store. I think hey great! I take some memory out of my old computer and a hard drive and put it in my new Athlon XP 1700+. I power on after going to all the work of taking parts out of one to put in the new one.

I'm using PC133 memory until I get around to buying some PC2100.

What happens? A long string of beeps that's what. I make sure the card is seated properly. Still I get nothing but beeps. I pop my old Voodoo 3 3000 in the XP machine and sure enough it boots right up.

I returned the PNY and am back to where I started.:(

Nope. They had sold most of their cards and only had PNY MX 200 or ATI Radeon 7000. I was disgusted that I couldn't get the first one to post, so I decided to give up and get something else.

That sucks, d00d :(

Try the Radeon, if you happen to play some DVD's, its quality is unmatched by any other card in its price range.

Just luck of the draw. I've had no problems at all with my mx400. Go see 'em on the next shipment date & try again.
