computer died again

lost my mobo last night, started as an intermittent fault, erroneous resets etc, by evening ended up not working at all.

lucky its still under warranty... so I got a loaner p2 333 / bx6-c that wont run win2k.

When things go wrong they really go wrong.... now I'm back running win98se until my machine is repaired.

Just my two cents and you may already have these...
but I am a big believer in fans in the computer case. I have 4 additional fans: 1 input + 3 output. They are not enormous but all together they keep things very cool in the case and they are cheap enough and easy to install considering how much equipment some of us has invested and the time it took to install in our machines.

sorry to hear about your loss krusty. I can't get rid of Windows 98 becuase of my laser printer (damn good one) that doesn't work with Win2K, so I'll give Win98 a 400MB partition and run Win2K on the rest

Windows 98 has worked fine for me for a long time. I don't even have 98SE.
