CHICAGO, Illinois (AP) -- Night after night, Al Hanna trudges up and down a pimple of a hill as he prepares to scale the tallest mountain on Earth.

Hanna is closing in on his 72nd birthday -- and another attempt at setting the record to become the oldest person to climb Mount Everest.

He is more than seven years older than Sherman Bull of Connecticut was when he set the record at age 64 last year.

The story goes on to talk about how he carries a 60 pound backpack around everyday climbing hills. He's made three attempts so far and got within 300 feet of the top. I think it said.

I know what you mean. Mine sometimes gets trashed enough that you need a pogo stick to get around. :retard:

If you go through my room on a pogo stick, you need a helmet, otherwise the ceiling will give you a concussion. :smash2:

Going through my room with a pogo stick will land you a headache even if the floor is clean! It's only about a 7' ceiling. :retard:
