Hello all,
Thank you for the warm welcome. I need car audio help. I was really into this during my younger years but have been completely out of the loop since my first PC. In those days, it was a Pentium II 266 MHz.
Anyway, I always used to setup up cars with a single amplifier. I'm hoping I can still do this now-a-days.
Does anyone know if they still sell good 5 channel amplifiers? The one I had before was a Soundstream Continuum. I don't think those things are still alive so what are other good 5 Channel amps? I've seen a lot of Alpine V12's but thoise were shit back in the day... are they any better now?
Here are parts of the system I've already bought:
Pioneer CD Deck
Pioneer Changer
What I need now is 6.5 Inch separates for the front and 6.5 coaxials for the rear. I'm also going to need a subwoofer... debating on two 8's in a sealed box or a single twelve in a bandpass box.
The amp is where I'm lost. It has to either a 5 or 6 channel amplifier rated a 4 ohms and can deliver about 150 watts RMS to the sub with a built in low pass crossover.
ANy help would really be appreciated.
