What your team? What are your thoughts on the World Cup?
My team "of heart" is Gremio which is trying to be South America's champion for the 3rd time. My favourites for the World Cup are Brazil, Argentina and Italy. I hope some europeans here can show up in this?

Sadly it doesn't seem to air on TV much here. Or if it does, it isn't advertised so I miss it. Maybe if we had a better team...

Since I live in Canada and our team never makes it, I end up cheering for the country I was born in, Scotland. Sadly the damn Scot's didn't make it this year.

BTW, the Germans will kick everyone's butts, well that's what I think.

The game between Japan and Russia was a good match. I'll be up early watching Denmark and England tomorrow.

England dispatched Denmark. I have to agree with you at this point, Germany has shown great signs of power. I still think Italy can be some nasty surprise though.

Well I was almost right. Looked like they were going to win it they way they were playing in the first 20 minutes of the match.
You can't keep giving Ronaldo that may chances and expect to win. He sure made up for 1998.
