Did you use the original NES, which had you slide the game into the loading bay and then push it down? Or did you use the later models, which had you shove the game into a slot on top, a la the Super NES and N64?

Yeah, the Trinitron monitors have two faint wires going across the screen to stabilize it. I don't really notice them anymore, after having my 17" Trinitron for nearly 3 1/2 years.
