If you're going to gem a shield, a diamond is a better choice anyway. Why resist only lightning when you can catch resist ALL?

You'll need to be quick about logging in and out of the game with the trading char and your char. I'd hate to see a bunch of nice stuff disappear becuase someone had to pee at the wrong time. :D

In order to use the leg, you have to have completed the game. IE, to open a normal cow level, you have to have already beaten Bael in normal. GF, you won't be able to use that thing for some time.

Yeah, for now I'd go shield and sword or mace. As you get more levels, you'll need to switch that shield for a second weapon, but probably not quite yet.

With either the barb or the pally, I'd ditch the bow. I never, as a rule, use anything with normal or slower attack speed, either.
