Candy will rot your guts out from the inside. XP is a slothbox. There are some nice features like the pic viewer is much improved for slide shows etc. BUT: the memory hogginess is incredible, the candy slows things down even more, and it is definitely less stable than win2k sp2, not so much in...

Hell yeah, running 2 instances in 2 seperate directories is easy peasy (make sure you let each client get it's own cpu id number). And then put a nonet shortcut for each client in to the startup group. All done :)

Cost me about AUS$2700, here in Bangkok. Around $500-$1000 bucks cheaper than any comparable Intel based system. Comes with 256MB ram, 56k modem+10/100 LAN, 14" XGA screen, 8x DVD and floppy. Plus they should soon have a version with the Athlon4 1.2GHz processor :)

They are different form factors. CompactFlash come in two types, Type I and Type II. The Type II is thicker. IBM Microdrives are Type II CompactFlash devices. You can get up to 1GB by using a Microdrive. Smartmedia I have no experience with, but it does have a smaller physical size I believe...
