Stupid virus

Of all things to end up with at work.... we got the sircam virus.
So I look it up and read its got its own bug in it that its not capable of passing thru a NT/2000 computer.
Well guess what, not only did we get it on a 2000 pc but it passed it to 2 others. Freakin Norton didnt even stop it. So i had to hack the regestry and kill the damn thing. I got one machine left to fix and then hopefully it will be gone.
Anyone else ever get an oddball virus like this?

I got the funlove virus a few months ago... it was a bitch to get rid of..

I've done the sircam thing before. One tip - make sure you get it out of the recycle bin as well. A lot of AV proggies don't scan the recycled folder by default, and you have to get that with sircam.

I finally got it out...What a bitch to do though.
