They're making my life harder. No one is going to want to repair their old printers anymore when they can go buy a
new one for $250US

My printer, a Canon BJC-6000, was bought for around $150 (was supposed to be $120 but the rebate never came)

I'm not using it at the moment, cause...well... I don't have a cartridge for it.

They're $30, so whenever I can keep myself from buying new hardware to fry, I'll go out to the store and get a new cartridge and some more ink tanks for it. Maybe even install the thing on my computer!

Not so. The 1100 has only one paper tray, and it's capacity is limited. It's only really competition to the inkjet market. Adding that scanner option makes a real nice VP's printer, tho, doesn't it?
