the first, unofficial, weekend of summer. time to do some gardening, paint the trim, a little yard work maybe. Cozy up in front of the tube to watch the Indy 500. Get together with friends family for a BBQ. Best of all, no work Monday for most of us.
However, remember the reason behind the holiday. There have been over 2 million soldiers & civilians killed in the line of duty to protect our country & the freedom that comes with it. 2 million people who can't have a hot dog & a beer because they were protecting our way of life. Stop, say thanks & remember, without their sacrifice we might be Iraq or Germany (circa 1940).
