Imagine yourself running at top speed towards the edge of a cliff, not being able to stop. Now imagine the intense feeling of relief you might get if a hero in a cape took hold of you and floated you safely down to the ground below.

I had a relatively old computer to repair, and it was giving me a beep code I was not familiar with. I was terrified I wouldn't be able to get the computer fixed in time. I was heading for that cliff.

Then, BIOS Central Man saved my life, as I checked out BIOS Central to look up the beep codes for an American Megatrends BIOS. I found the source of the problem, fixed it, thereby satisfying my customer enough for him to pay me.
