When you get your email about downloading the "new comcast.net software which is so good you'll piss your pants with excitement", or something to that effect, DON"T!!!!!

Outlook Express-Tools/Accounts/New/Mail:

General Tab-name the account(Comcast mail?), [email protected]

Server Tab-pop3, mail.comcast.net, smtp.comcast.net
(yourusername), (the password they emailed you to your @home addy)

Connection Tab-check it if you want & ONLY use comcast

That's it. You may wwant to go make "rules" for that accouont, but it isn't necessary. The software is just bloated crap to take up space & nothing more.

oh yea, My @home service will be making the transition in a few days. The cable company, Mediacom, is taking it over. I hope like hell they have good service :smash:
