he doesn't need to partition. and how old is your system? if it's pretty old, you may need a BIOS update/hack. Older BIOSs don't like big disks (no pun intended :p). And it's also a possibility that's it's not completely formatted. You'll have to check.

I've heard Newegg.com is shit loads of trouble. One guy I talked to ordered a GF2 Ultra from them, page saying instock, waiting a few weeks, never got it. His CC was charged, and no product. Then, he called them, they told him to wait longer, etc. blahblah. he finally had to call his CC company...

GF4 MX is supposed to suck. But that's just what I've heard. Downgrading to 98 will be lest controllable (BSOD time baby), but you might get more FPS. I don't know. I run my Kyro2 in XP, and it gets the same FPS (maybe even more) than the 9x/ME series.

I've had a WD 7200rpm 20gig drive for a year and a half now, and been running an IBM 60gxp 7200rpm 60gig for around 6 months, and both run fine. The WD has even been pounded against my case a few times (not intentional, of course :p).

Linux hates me. I changed the resolution. It doesn't like that resolution. My monitor "refresh rate error". YAY! (and i have put my video card drivers on) And 1024x768 works fine in windows.
